Unable to see anything but this and a couple posts about my crafts and paintings? That's because anything of any real importance is only visible to friends/family and my neighborhood. For the most part, i'm a painter, its the one medium i have started to truly find myself getting lost in and for me anything you can lose yourself in is a good thing ^_^. This first painting is from a collage i made from magazine images and then blew it up and added to it as i went. Its my most recent finished work to date, and is the beginning of what i call my "venturing out on my own" way of working. Its acrylic on canvas and is 4' x 4'.
The next painting is the first painting of my third year, the assignment was to do an abstract, which was a completely new thing for me so i was a little cautious. For this one, i took one of my main interests *music* and took something that was fairly personal to me *Piano* and just kind of went with it. The result was taking the inside components of a grand piano and arranging them into an esthetically pleasing arrangement. This is what i came up with :) It is acrylic with mixed media collaged on a 3.5' x 4' canvas.
Do you think real love can last throughout any distance, or will long distance end most relationships?

After bring in a long distance relationship for just over a year, I know that they certainly aren't easy, but that isn't to say that they are impossible. Its about trust, patients, and real love. I think that it really depends on the reason in which there is distance between you and your s/o. If it's work related, say your hubby works shift work and has a week of work, and is home for a week... that shouldn't really affect the relationship to the point of ending things. School is another one, if there are options of coming home for a few days and that sort of thing.. then sure, true love will last, provided there are emails and phone calls of course <3 :) Its hard though, it depends on the couple, and the status of the relationship. If its strong, true and honest.. no distance should ever be able to come between two people.
